As you know, I’m an enthusiastic ambassador for Columbia and Myrtle Beach, both of which I call home. But I also save a very special place in my heart for a third South Carolina town, Winnsboro in Fairfield County! Under current leadership, Winnsboro and Fairfield County are making strides to improve the quality of life for their residents, and on Saturday, under the visionary direction of County Administrator Jason Taylor, Winnsboro is launching an exciting new era with the grand opening of the new Fairfield Farmers & Artisans Market.
The market is making a move to the building at 117 East Washington Street, behind the town clock in downtown Winnsboro (and just across the street from Mike Kelly Law Group’s local office!). The facility dates back to the 1800s, when it used as a livery stable, and has been newly restored to create an event space that blends its historic charm with modern accommodations—a perfectly quaint setting for the new Farmers & Artisans Market. The grand-opening festivities begin at 9 am with the ribbon cutting and will feature, in addition to a wide array of SC vendors, live music, food trucks, classes, and door prizes. This event is not to be missed, so come join in on the fun—and be sure to drop by the Mike Kelly Law Group booth to say hello!
