Sally Grisetti

Social Security Paralegal

Sally has worked with Mike Kelly since July of 1986. Originally from Wooster, Ohio, Sally moved to Columbia in 1986. She attended Wooster High School then went through Paralegal Training. She has been married to her husband, John for 51 years and together they have two sons who have blessed them with 5 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. She enjoys cooking and rollerblading and listening to all the Southern accents. Sally is committed to serving the people of South Carolina and is always available to explain the Social Security Administration Disability system and process to each individual.

Jamie Brown

Veteran's Disability Paralegal
Administrative Assistant

Jamie Brown is a veteran’s disability paralegal and Mike Kelly’s longtime administrative assistant and "right hand" person. She has worked with Mike Kelly since February of 1996. She began with her role as a receptionist and has worn many hats since that time. She loves working at the Mike Kelly Law Group and helping serve the people of South Carolina.

Jamie is a life-long resident of Lexington County, South Carolina, where she graduated from Brookland-Cayce High School and the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor's in Retail Management. Outside of her roles at MKLG, Jamie is happily married to her husband, John, and they have one daughter, Reganne, who attends college in Charleston. Jamie enjoys attending and doing community service projects with her church, Center Pointe Community Church, spending time with her family and friends, cooking and photography.

Amanda Swearingen

Legal Administrator

Amanda M Swearingen has worked with Mike Kelly since March of 1999. She is the firm's Legal Administrator and takes great pride in her work and accomplishments for the law firm. She handles all of the firm's Finances, Human Resources, and Property Management.

Amanda is a graduate of Gilbert High School and has lived in South Carolina all her life. Amanda married her husband, Paul, in July 2014, and they have four children together: their daughter, Kristi and three sons, Hayden, Ethan and Aiden. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending sporting events, and taking vacations to the beach.

Greta Edwards

Litigation Paralegal

Greta resides in Orangeburg, South Carolina and holds a total of 17 years legal experience. She has been the litigation paralegal at the Mike Kelly Law Group since September of 2005. She graduated with an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College in 2000. When she's not at the Mike Kelly Law Group she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughters and beloved dog Dolce. She is a member of Zion Baptist Church in Columbia S.C.

Kimberly Smith

Workers' Compensation Paralegal

- Kimberly is originally from Augusta, Georgia and holds a total of 12 years legal experience. She has been the workers’ compensation paralegal at the Mike Kelly Law Group since March of 2006. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Georgia Southern University and Paralegal Certification from Augusta State University. When she's not at the Mike Kelly Law Group she enjoys domestic and international travel, contributing to her lifestyle blog and working with her event planning/rental business. She also attends River of Life Church in Winnsboro, SC where she serves as Executive Assistant to her Pastor.

Gladys Harris


Gladys Harris is the receptionist with Mike Kelly Law Group. She came to us in April of 2011 with over 35 years of customer service experience gained as a banker and as a Realtor. She enjoys serving the public and is a great asset to our company.

Gladys is a graduate of Benedict College, Leadership Columbia, and South Carolina Bankers School. As a member of Greater Columbia Board of Realtors, she served on several boards. She served as Membership Committee Chairperson, member of Grievance Committee and also, member of Professional Standards Committee. Gladys was a longtime volunteer with Richland County School District One and the City of Columbia Police Department. Gladys is currently a member of Richland County Sheriff's Department Alumni Association, a volunteer with Project Hope and the Richland County Sheriff's Department Youth Arbitration Program, serving for over eight years. Gladys also, serves as a team captain for the Palmetto Health Foundation Walk for Life/Race for Life Campaign.

Gladys loves her church, Mt. Moriah Baptist Church of Hopkins, South Carolina where she serves on the Missionary Ministry, the Usher Ministry and the Women's Auxiliary. She enjoys bowling, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

Deepika Champaneri

Administrative Assistant

Deepika Champaneri has been with Mike Kelly Law Group since December 2014 as an Administrative Assistant to Amanda Swearingen. She currently lives in Lexington, South Carolina with her family. Being of Indian origin, born in Africa and educated in England, she has quite an international background. Deepika completed all of her formal education in Sussex, England and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Business Management with a minor in Marketing. Her professional background includes banking, marketing and office management.

When away from work Deepika stays busy with her family. She also enjoys trying new recipes, reading and traveling.

Michelle Moorey

Litigation Paralegal

Michelle has worked with Mike Kelly for over 15 years. After moving away from Columbia, she continued to serve the people of South Carolina, but is now back in her hometown of Columbia and serving as a litigation paralegal in the MKLG Columbia office. Michelle graduated from Dreher High School and received her Associate in Business in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from Midlands Technical College in November 1991. She is married to Nathan and has a son, Reece, and a daughter, Ragan. On the weekends you can find her cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks. Michelle will be assisting Mike Kelly, Brad Hewett, and Jamie Smith with all aspects of the firm's litigation practice.

Laura Harth

Social Security Paralegal

Laura has been with the Mike Kelly Law Group since August, 2015. She serves as the SS Disability paralegal in the Myrtle Beach office. She attains a Bachelor's in Philosophy from Costal Carolina University and an Associate's in Applies Science for Paralegal Studies from Horry-Georgetown Technical College. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her son, Matthew, and biking around Myrtle Beach.

Kayla Culver

Law Clerk

In August 2016, Kayla joined the Mike Kelly Law Group as a law clerk, assisting the attorneys and paralegals with all aspects of their work. Kayla enjoys working for the Mike Kelly Law Group because she has the opportunity to play a part in helping our clients each day.

Originally from Ohio, Kayla moved around quite a bit before ending up in South Carolina in 2008. In 2014, Kayla graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. Soon after graduating, Kayla was first introduced to the legal field, and after working in the field for a year, she decided to pursue a career in law. Currently, Kayla is a third-year law student at the University of South Carolina School of Law and will earn her Juris Doctor in May 2018.

When Kayla is not at the Mike Kelly Law Group, you can find her outdoors, traveling, or reading any novel she can get her hands on in her spare time.

Katina Tyler

Medical Records Clerk

Katina started working with Mike Kelly Law Group in June of 2017. She serves as our Medical Records Clerk, working closely with Atty. Lisa Cotten. She was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. Katina has a background in obtaining and handling medical records from her previous positions as a Case Manager and Team Leader. She has experience in obtaining medical records from all over the globe –Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific. When she isn’t busy working she enjoys shopping, relaxing, and spending time with her son.

Kim Sanders

Social Security Disability Paralegal

Kim started working with Mike Kelly in 1989, working part time while attending Midlands Technical College. Upon graduation and earning her Associate’s in Business in Legal Assistant/Paralegal Program, she started full time handling Social Security Disability and Workers Compensation claims until 2009. She then returned to MKLG July 2017 as the Social Security Disability Paralegal. Kim is a resident of Little Mountain, SC and a graduate of Mid Carolina High School. In her free time she enjoys cooking, bonfires, and lake days with her husband of 25 years, Ted, and their three children: Jordan, Hogan, and Kassidy.

Noelle Jones

Marketing Coordinator

Noelle joined the Mike Kelly Law Group in August 2017 as the Marketing Coordinator. She was born and raised in Goose Creek, South Carolina and a graduate of Stratford High School. Upon graduation from high school, she attended Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. During her tenure at Coastal, she became involved in many campus organizations. Within those organizations she held the Fundraising Committee Chair, Wall College of Business Senator, and Treasurer positions. Living in the Myrtle Beach area for four years, she was able to also gain valuable experience in sales and hospitality.

Following her graduation in 2016, Noelle returned to her hometown where she stayed for a year before relocating to Columbia. Although she is a new resident to the Columbia area, she is happy to call it her home. When she isn’t busy working, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and anything that allows her to spend the day at the beach or on the lake.
