As many of you know, I’ve spent my career working in Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, and Social Security/Disability. Today, I want to remind my friends that delays from Workers’ Comp insurance companies in approving timely medical care have become increasingly frustrating. However, there is a path forward and no one has to walk it alone.

 

One of our clients at the Mike Kelly Law Group, a dedicated chef injured on the job, has been waiting nearly a year for the surgery he needs to return to work. Although he is fortunate to still receive weekly benefits (unlike many others who are left with nothing), he continues to struggle financially on two-thirds his former income, and emotionally as he endures daily pain without the treatment he deserves.
