One of the things I am most proud about in regard to the Mike Kelly Law Group is that we are active in our communities. We all feel blessed to have our health, our families and our careers, and our mindset is such that because we have been given much, we must give much! I must confess that, as the founder of the law firm, I push giving back to our communities, but I have also assembled a group of people with like minds that appreciate their many blessings from the Almighty Above.
In future KellyGrams I will occasionally highlight some of our community work. Today I want to kick this series off by focusing on our volunteering in Fairfield County. First and foremost, we are active in the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. Terry Vickers, President and CEO, and her administrative assistant Susan Yenner do an awesome job for the businesses and citizens of Fairfield County. Terry and Susan do more with less–moreso than I have ever seen two people accomplish. Because of the small size of Fairfield, the Chamber of Commerce not only promotes business development but is also the tourism arm for the county. I am completing a term on the Fairfield Chamber Board of Directors and succeeding me will be our Legal Administrator, Amanda Swearingen. I am very proud of Amanda for carrying on the tradition of giving back to our friends in Fairfield!
